The smaller roof jobs, done just as well.
Fascias, soffits, verges, valleys, lead flashing and regular roof maintenance.
For homes, landlords and businesses.
No job too small. Looking after a roof now costs far less than replacing it later.
The little things that turn into big bills
Most of these can be spotted from the garden. Caught early, they're quick and affordable to put right.
Rotten or peeling fascias
The boards behind your gutters soften, crack and let water into the roof edge.
Holes in the soffits
Gaps under the roof edge let in damp, birds and wasps.
Mortar falling from the verge
The edge of the roof at the gable end relies on mortar that crumbles with age.
Worn or lifted lead flashing
Around chimneys, walls and skylights, it's a common place for water to get in.
Blocked or split valleys
Where two roof slopes meet, leaves and moss build up and water overflows.
Moss building up
It holds water against the tiles and blocks valleys and gutters.
Look after the edges, and the roof looks after you.
Most roof problems don't start in the middle of the roof. They start at the edges and the joins: the fascias, soffits, verges, valleys and flashing.
These parts take the most weather, and they're the ones people forget. A rotten fascia lets water into the rafters. A blocked valley sends rain under the tiles. A lifted bit of lead lets water run down the inside of a wall.
Whether it's a terrace in Luton, a family home in Milton Keynes or a row of rental properties in Bedford, a regular check and a few small repairs keep the whole roof working properly.
We look at the whole roof with the drone, fix what needs fixing, and tell you honestly what can wait.
The parts of your roof we look after
- FasciasThe boards along the roof edge that hold your gutters.
- SoffitsThe boards underneath, closing off the roof space.
- VergesThe edge of the roof at the gable end.
- ValleysWhere two slopes meet and carry water down.
- Lead flashingThe seal where the roof meets a wall or chimney.
What new fascias, soffits and gutters change
A simple drawing of a worn roof edge, and the same edge once it's been replaced.
- 1. Rotten, peeling wooden fascia and moss on the tiles
- 2. A sagging gutter dripping down the wall
- 3. A hole in the soffit letting in damp and birds
- 1. New low-maintenance fascia and clean tiles
- 2. A straight new gutter, so water runs away properly
- 3. A new vented soffit, sealed against birds
These are illustrations, not photos of a real job. Every roof is different, and we'll show you photos of your own roof from the drone survey.

Frequently asked questions
Do you take on small jobs?
Yes. Replacing a section of fascia, refitting some lead or clearing a valley are all jobs we're happy to do.
How often should my roof be checked?
Once a year is a good rule, and always after a big storm. Homes near trees may need gutters and valleys cleared more often.
Should I replace wooden fascias with uPVC?
For most homes, yes. New uPVC fascias and soffits don't rot and only need an occasional wipe down.
What is a dry verge?
It's a set of clip-on caps for the edge of the roof at the gable end. Unlike mortar, it doesn't crack and fall out.
Do you work for landlords and businesses?
Yes. We look after rental properties, shops, offices and other commercial buildings, as well as homes.
Is the work guaranteed?
Yes, all our workmanship is guaranteed.
