Gutters that carry the rain away from your home.
Gutter cleaning, repairs, new gutters and downpipes, plus fascias and soffits.
For homes and commercial buildings.
The cheapest job on your house can prevent the most expensive ones: damp, rot and damaged walls.
Are your gutters doing their job?
The best time to check is during proper rain. Most of these you can spot from the garden.
Water pouring over the edge
The gutter is blocked, or has lost its slope towards the downpipe.
Drips from the joints
The seals have gone, or a bracket has dropped.
Plants growing in the gutter
Moss, leaves and grass are blocking the water.
Sagging between brackets
Water sits in the dip, then splits the gutter in a hard frost.
Green streaks down the wall
They show exactly where water has been overflowing.
Damp high on an upstairs wall
Often lines up with a leaking gutter outside.
Small channels, big job.
Your roof collects a huge amount of rain every year, and all of it ends up in two gutters roughly the width of your hand.
When they work, that water goes quietly to the drains. When they're blocked or broken, it pours down your walls instead. That's what leads to damp inside, rotten fascias, frost-damaged bricks and green-stained render.
Homes with mossy roofs or trees nearby fill their gutters fastest. Across Leighton Buzzard, Dunstable and Milton Keynes, a gutter clean once a year, late autumn after the leaves have fallen, prevents most of these problems.
When gutters do need replacing, we fit them with the right slope, secure brackets and sealed joints, then run water through to check it all flows.
What your gutters protect
- Your wallsFrom damp, staining and frost damage.
- Your roof edgeFascias and soffits stay dry and don't rot.
- Inside your homeNo damp patches on upstairs walls.
- Your foundationsWater goes to the drain, not the ground by the house.
What fixing your gutters changes
A simple drawing of failing gutters, and the same house once they've been sorted.
- 1. Blocked with leaves and moss, pouring over the edge
- 2. A sagging section dripping from the joint
- 3. A broken downpipe spilling onto the wall
- 1. Cleared, so water runs freely
- 2. Straight, with sealed joints and secure brackets
- 3. Downpipe connected all the way to the drain

Frequently asked questions
How often should gutters be cleaned?
Once a year for most homes, ideally late autumn once the leaves are down. Twice a year if trees hang over the house.
Why are my gutters overflowing?
Usually a blockage, or the gutter has lost its slope towards the downpipe. A blocked downpipe can also push water back up.
Can you repair a leaking joint, or do I need new gutters?
A leaking joint can often be resealed. If the gutters are cracked, brittle or leaking in lots of places, new ones are usually better value.
Which gutters are best?
uPVC suits most homes and needs little looking after. Aluminium is very hard-wearing, and cast-style suits older and period homes.
Can you replace my fascias and soffits at the same time?
Yes. It's the best time to do it, as the old gutters are already off.
Is the work guaranteed?
Yes, all our workmanship is guaranteed.
